MLB The Show needed to draw in a new audience. The problem? The average sports gamer didn’t follow or think about baseball. For years interest in baseball has declined. People say the games are too long, too boring, and that there are no marketable superstars. America's pastime needed a little more personality. And a lot more swagger. So we made a bold claim: BASEBALL is BETTER. Better than anything. And everything. We shattered sales records and grew the game’s social presence exponentially by developing a voice I like to describe as your slightly annoying little brother.









We started each campaign when pitchers and catchers report.


And expanded our reach by recruiting a team of players to star in a massive digital campaign, poked the bear with site takeovers, and used infographics to give scientific proof of baseball’s supremacy.











We also made some TV commercials with Kenny Powers himself.
